Tony Beckwith graduated with a B.A. (Hons) degree in Economics from Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge University, U.K., in 1983.
From 1983 to 1998, he worked for four major institutions in the City of London as a global economist (special emphasis Japan and the U.K.) - including spells in Japan – and as a Japanese markets economist and equities/warrants broker to institutional clients, increasingly using technical analysis and quantitative work with his client base. He was a Senior Executive and Head of UK Sales for two years at broker James Capel/HSBC.

In 1998, he started trading and researching privately and continues to do so. He is an Associate Member of The Society of Technical Analysts in the U.K.
Tony has written and edited articles for Stocks & Commodities™, Traders World, The Technical Analyst, the Exchange, Trade2Win, Tactical Trader and The Trader's Journal. He also makes regular Risk Control presentations for MTPredictor Ltd. and presents on behalf of other firms to traders globally.
He is the Director of Sales & Business Development for the MTPredictor™ product range.
